Lambert Bridge Winery Donates Tasting Room Fees of $12,447.50 To Healthcare Foundation Northern Sonoma County

Healdsburg, CA, January 10, 2018

Post-wildfires the owners and employees of Lambert Bridge wanted to support the local community in its recovery process and decided that donating the tasting room fees for the remainder of 2017 to two local charities – the Healthcare Foundation Northern Sonoma County and the Sonoma County Grape Growers Foundation – would be a great way to recognize the efforts of those groups while helping the community.

“We chose the Healthcare Foundation Northern Sonoma County because the work it does keeps healthcare accessible locally for the families and the region’s workforce,” said Bill Smart, VP and General Manager of Lambert Bridge. Smart added, “Immediately after the fires, the Healthcare Foundation was working with the healthcare providers in our region to understand what was needed to support the healthcare workforce and retain quality healthcare in our community – and we wanted to be a part of supporting that effort, with our check for $12,447.50.”

Barbara Grasseschi, Board Chair of the Healthcare Foundation note, “We are so appreciative of the ongoing support of the Chambers family and the employees of Lambert Bridge. This was a great way to make a difference in the health of our region.”

Lambert Bridge is owned by Ray and Patti Chambers, Lambert Bridge is nestled among the redwoods and rolling hills of West Dry Creek, just past the namesake bridge. Founded more than 40 years ago, the winery presents some of the region’s most noted wines, produced by winemaker Jennifer Higgins.
