Healthcare Affair Postponed Due to Weather
Due to the heavy rain and cold weather expected this week and weekend, which will impact the overall quality of the experience and safety of guests, partners and volunteers, the Healthcare Foundation Northern Sonoma County (HF) has made the difficult decision to postpone the Healthcare Affair.
This decision was not made lightly; HF regrets having to postpone this event as this is their biggest fundraiser of the year, and the revenue it generates is critical – HF depends on the generosity of its event guests to fund important health services for our region. However, even if the rain in the forecast for Saturday clears out, the estimated amount of rain expected mid-week is going to leave the lawn in less than ideal conditions for the outdoor event.
The event host Clos du Bois and other HF partner vendors worked throughout the day to find an alternative to postponement once the potential rain increased to 70+ percent for Saturday.
Information about rescheduling the fundraiser will be posted on the website www.healthcarefoundation.net and on the Foundation’s Facebook page.
Tickets/table purchases will be applied to a new date in support of our organization. Should a refund be required, instead, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
