Healthcare Foundation

We Need Your Help!

The Healthcare Foundation is accepting donations to support people who live and work in northern Sonoma County who have been affected by the wildfires that devastated large swathes of our region. These people – your neighbors – are counting on you! By donating using the form below, you can give them the helping hand they need to get through this disaster.

WHAT WE ARE DOING NOW

  1. Healdsburg District Hospital Workforce Relief – This fund has been established by a donor who will provide a 2-for-1 match: we raise $50,000 and then receive $100,000. We are moving quickly to raise the $50,000. Donations of any amount will help us raise the $50,000 required for the 2-for-1 match. To contribute  select “Hospital Workforce Relief” from the drop down “designation” menu below. Checks, with the same notation , can be mailed to PO Box 1025, Healdsburg, CA 95448.
  2. Relief fund to support  Alliance Medical Center and PDI Surgery Center – Both organizations had significant numbers of employees and physicians who lost homes or were displaced beyond the evacuation period. Both were shut down for days incurring loss of revenue, as well. To contribute  select “Alliance and PDI Workforce” from the drop down “designation” menu below.
  3. Mental Health Support – We are working with the regional  associations of mental health professionals to establish ongoing access to free mental health counseling for fire survivors. Given the tremendous shortage of mental health professionals, we know this will be a huge issue for our community as folks encounter depression and Post-Traumatic Stress in the coming months. To contribute, select “Mental Health Support” from the “designation” drop-down menu below.

WHAT WE ARE DOING FOR THE FUTURE

Mental Health Talent Pipeline – We have $100,000 to start this fund and need to raise at least $50,000 each calendar year to get to a matching $50,000. This provides us with a way to identify bilingual mental health graduating professionals and place them in our clinics and schools to increase the number of mental health professionals in our community. To contribute directly to this fund type in “Mental Health Talent Pipeline” in the comment box for “Designation”.
