Yudith Correa is an innovative leader with over 20 years of commitment to equitable healthcare and over a decade of progressive health care leadership. Correa earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Sonoma State University and her Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in Leadership and Management from Western Governors University. Correa started her journey in community health centers as a volunteer and quickly learned that her passion was to serve her community as a nurse and leader. Correa is passionately committed to eliminating socioeconomic and health disparities in the communities she lives and serves in, and she approaches community health through a social justice and equity lens. Correa began her career at Santa Rosa Community Health as a frontline registered nurse and grew into different roles over her 9-year tenor. She served as Director of Nursing at OLE Health from 2020 to 2022, which is located in Napa and Solano counties and serves a large farm worker community. She was recently selected to serve as Chief Operating Officer for Santa Rosa Community Health and re-joined the team in September 2022. Correa has firsthand experience with the inequities in less resourced communities and keeps this at the forefront of her mind when prioritizing her goals. Her vision is to support health systems in expanding their definition of equity and acting on the current gaps for patients and staff. Her passion is to uplift those around her and support them in becoming the best version of themselves.
