Scott is the co-managing partner of Hafner Vineyard, a small family winery in Alexander Valley. Begun in 1967, Hafner Vineyard focuses primarily on Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, made by Parke Hafner, Scott’s brother, and the wines are available exclusively from the winery. Scott oversees the marketing and finance side of the business where he has worked since 1984.
Scott lives in rural Santa Rosa with his husband of 35 years, Bill Glenn, who is a psychotherapist with offices in San Francisco and Santa Rosa. Scott graduated from Connecticut College where he majored in European History.
Scott has served in leadership roles on the boards of Connecticut College, Pacific School of Religion, Horizons Foundation and other non-profit organizations. Scott’s fundraising experience, particularly in the area of major donor cultivation has proven beneficial to these organizations and others.
Scott’s family has been active in Sonoma County, volunteering to support community health, education, the environment and agriculture.
