You may be feeling anxious about the spread of the novel coronavirus disease COVID-19. Given the seriousness of the disease and the media attention it’s attracted, we understand your feelings. We at the Healthcare Foundation want to help you feel prepared, and to make sure you have the latest information. We’ve compiled some resources below to help you stay up-to-date, and to learn how to minimize your exposure and prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other illnesses. We are constantly curating and updating this list, so please check back frequently for new and important resources.

  • NAMI Sonoma County’s mental health warmline remains operational. If you or your loved ones need emotional support, guidance, or mental health resource referrals, you can reach NAMI by calling (866) 960-6264 or e-mailing
  • Sonoma County Behavioral Health has launched a COVID-19 Mental Health Warm Line at (707) 565-2652. This free and private warm line is open seven days a week between 10AM and 7PM, and is served by English- and Spanish-speaking staff.
  • Mental Health Association of San Francisco has a Peer-Run Warm Line which you can access by phone at 1-855-845-7415 or via IM Chat.
  • Redwood Empire Food Bank (food finder here) and Sonoma Family Meal are working hard to distribute food and meals to our community’s most vulnerable members.
  • Corazon Healdsburg is committed to helping local families in times of distress and need. If you need assistance, you can contact them by e-mail at, by phone at (707) 395-0938, and by Facebook message at
  • If you’re an immigrant living in California, the State’s Guide for Immigrant Californians will help you stay safe and informed.
  • Catholic Charities of Santa Rosa offers a wide variety of resources at their COVID-19 page, including food distribution, help enrolling in food stamps, immigration consultations, homeless services, and more.
  • Community Action Partnership Sonoma can help with rental assistance and food gift cards. Call them at 707-544-6911.
  • Mon Ami offers phone calls, grocery runs, tech support, and virtual concerts to seniors isolated by COVID-19. Call their hotline at (650) 267-2474 or check out their website.
  • Jewish Community Free Clinic is offering on-site medication pickups at pre-arranged times—just call 707-585-7780 and leave a message. They’re also offering up to 8 free sessions of bilingual mental health services.
  • St. Joseph Health Dental Clinic is accepting patients (adults and children) with urgent dental needs. For more information, call their bilingual front desk at 707-547-2221.
  • California LifeLine can provide discounted home and cell phone service to qualified households. Check out their website (versión en Español aquí), or call them at 1-866-272-0349 (English) or 1-866-272-0350 (Español).
  • Restaurants Care is offering help for restaurant workers who are either personally affected by a COVID-19 diagnosis or out-of-work for 3+ weeks due to restaurant closure.
  • If you’re a business owner or employee of a business that has been affected by COVID-19, the Sonoma County Economic Development Board has an excellent guide to business and employee assistance.
  • Sonoma Community Resilience has gathered a list of Guided Wellness Experiences – these short videos take you through simple but powerful experiences that calm your mind and help reduce the effects of stress and trauma.
  • If you’re a senior looking for a prescription delivery service, has you covered. This page will provide you with the top prescription delivery services, along with info about financial assistance options and a guide to choosing the best service for you.
  • After dedicating themselves to serving their country, many veterans face mental health issues. The Camp Lejeune Claims Center provides resources for veterans and their families, so that those struggling with mental health issues can find the support they deserve.
