Executive Director
Amy Ramirez serves as Executive Director of Healthcare Foundation Northern Sonoma County, where she leads collaborative efforts to strengthen community-rooted health infrastructure and advance long-term health equity.
A Santa Rosa native and former medical social worker, Amy centers community expertise as a guiding principle in the Foundation’s work. Under her leadership, the organization doubled its operating budget within two years and strengthened its role as a regional convener. Since 2001, the Foundation has invested more than $26.3 million to expand access to healthcare and mental healthcare.
The Foundation focuses on sustainable financing, civic capacity, and workforce development to ensure equitable, culturally responsive care systems.
Previously, Amy oversaw a $17 million Community Health Investment portfolio at Providence across three hospitals. She holds degrees from San Francisco State University (BA) and California State University, East Bay (MSW), and serves on the Providence Hospice Foundation Board and Hospital Community Board.
