Wildfire Mental Health Collaborative
The Wildfire Mental Health Collaborative (Collaborative), an initiative of the Healthcare Foundation, came together in response to the Sonoma County Wildfires in October of 2017 to help our community recover from the effects of the wildfires and return stronger than it was before. Our goal is to ensure that all Sonoma County residents have access to evidence-based strategies to recover and build resiliency post wildfires. Your donation helps fellow Sonoma County neighbors access free counseling, yoga, a special app, and website. We welcome the opportunity to work with you on a customized effort, too.
ANNUAL GIVING CAMPAIGN
Become a Healthcare Hero
Healthcare Heroes are donors who make three-year commitments for an annual gift. Annual gifts are the most important gifts donors can make to the Healthcare Foundation because they can be used fluidly to support the areas of greatest need.
Unrestricted annual gifts help the Healthcare Foundation meet current healthcare challenges and build longer- term solutions to those same challenges.
These gifts enable the Healthcare Foundation to sustainably grow its work in meeting the mission of leading and convening community partners in strategic healthcare conversations and planning.
There are many ways to give — by check, credit card, electronic fund transfer, online, or by making a gift of stock transferred to the Healthcare Foundation.
Wine Country Cares Partners are sponsors who make a three-year commitment to give $25,000 or more annually. As general underwriters, Partners are recognized in everything we do, including all print and electronic communications.
In addition, each of our signature events, Wine Women & Shoes, Noche de Amor and Healthcare Philanthropy Lunch/Wetzel Award also have sponsorships available. For more information call 473-0583 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Leave a Legacy Gift
Legacy giving is one of the easiest forms of giving, as it simply means you include the Healthcare Foundation as a beneficiary in your will and/or estate planning vehicles. Legacy giving can be in the form of stock, property, life insurance or cash.
Many donors contribute from their charitable rollover of an IRA, or list the Healthcare Foundation as a beneficiary of life insurance. Donors create legacy gifts through charitable remainder trusts, appreciated securities, or many other forms of planned giving.
Please contact our office for more information on how to include the Healthcare Foundation in your estate planning. If you have already named the Healthcare Foundation in your estate, please let us know so we can recognize you as a legacy donor.
Make a Major Gift to Support a Focus Area
The three focus areas for our work - Health Access, Mental Health and Early Childhood Development are essential elements for a quality, healthy life for each person and a healthier community. Some donors have unique focus areas which are personally very important to them and those donors fund major gifts to help us make lasting change in these particular focus areas. We welcome the opportunity to meet with donors to learn their interests and partner with them to create major gift supported long-term investments for positive change.
