Courtney Cochran is Director of Brand & Communications for The EVERY™ Company, which is leading the way in precision fermentation of animal-free protein toward a transformative future where alternative proteins are available to everyone, everywhere. From 2015 to 2022, Cochran was Director, Public Relations and Communications for Fetzer Vineyards, where she oversaw corporate, brand and sustainability communications for one of the nation’s leading wine marketers. Cochran has experience in B Corp recertification and in business advocacy for climate-smart legislation in a variety of arenas. She was among representatives from 75 leading businesses to meet with a bipartisan group of lawmakers on Capitol Hill as part of 2019’s historic Lawmaker Education and Advocacy Day (LEAD on Climate), and was a legislative meeting facilitator at the 2020 LEAD, which drew representatives from over 300 businesses to advocate for climate-smart policies in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis. Prior to 2015, Cochran was a Communications Strategist at E&J Gallo Winery and founder of HIP TASTES Communications in San Francisco, where she collaborated on communications and marketing initiatives for a variety of wine, fine beverage, and technology clients.

Cochran holds a BA from the University of California, Los Angeles and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. She is the author of the award-winning book, Hip Tastes: The Fresh Guide to Wine (2007), published by Viking Studio, an imprint of Penguin Group, USA.

Cochran resides with her family in Healdsburg, California.
