Danielle Restieaux

Danielle obtained her doctorate in jurisprudence (JD) in 2002 and has been a member of the California State Bar for over 19 years. She practiced for several years as a plaintiff-side class-action attorney, representing victims of securities fraud, before attending Columbia University for her Master’s of Science in Clinical Social Work. In New York City, Danielle worked with foster children, seniors, and differently-abled people. Upon moving to Healdsburg, Danielle created the policies and procedures of Reach for Home’s family transitional housing as that organization’s first social worker. She is also the former social worker at Healdsburg District Hospital. Currently, Danielle has her own practice as a professional family mediator, joining her legal expertise and social work skills to help families navigate life changes and come to satisfying agreements in constructive and healthy ways. Danielle is also a member of the Healdsburg Hospital Ethics Committee. She is a passionate advocate for social justice, increased access to healthcare, healthcare equity, and de-stigmatizing mental health issues. Danielle would especially like to help the Healthcare Foundation increase access for residents to mental healthcare in our county.
