Since the 2017 wildfires and the onset of the pandemic, local mental and behavioral health resources are stretched thin. Increasing demand on frontline staff and a shortage of volunteers in organizations serving the low-income and marginalized community members has resulted in burnout and compassion fatigue. Grants from the Healthcare Foundation support increased access to mental and behavioral health services for vulnerable and underserved populations across northern Sonoma County as well as programs to increase resiliency and capacity among those serving the community.
We are grateful to our individual and corporate donors for supporting these programs.
